Today we leave San Francisco and go to Yosemite. We've breakfast at the hotel and are picked up by a taxi to take us to the airport where we collect our rental car. Joes has the honours to be the first driver. The main differences (except that they driver on the wrong side of the road in the USA) are that turning right at red lights is allowed, as long as you don't hamper other traffic, and that you can overtake other cars on both sides. Oh, and overtake is called pass here.
The drive to Yosemite takes about 4 hours. It's not the most exciting drive ever but both Joes and Nicole get used to the car and the American way of driving. We arrive at our next stay Tenaya Lodge. During the day Joes has started to feel a bit unwell, so he finds a bed, while Nicole and Freya checkout the swimming pool. We have dinner at the hotel and have an early night.
